May 06, 2025 at 02:29 pm
The Delhi Traffic Police, in collaboration with the Delhi Legal Services Authority, is organising a National Lok Adalat on May 10, from 10 am to 4 pm.
The Delhi Traffic Police will be organising a National Lok Adalat on 10 May, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Those who have pending compoundable traffic challans can get them settled at the Lok Adalat sessions. This includes on-the-spot challans and notices for all types of vehicles, including commercial vehicles.
The settlement is available for challans listed on the Delhi Traffic Police portal until 31 January, 2025.
These Lok Adalat sessions will be held at the district courts across Delhi - Dwarka, Karkardooma, Patiala House, Rohini, Rose Avenue, Saket, and Tis Hazari courts.
If you wish to attend the Lok Adalat to settle your traffic challans, then you must obtain a token. To register for the token, visit the official website of the Delhi Traffic Police.
On the homepage of the website, you will see an option for ‘Delhi State Legal Services Authority.’ Click on this option, which will take you to the token registration page.
Here, you will have to fill in certain details, such as your name, contact number, vehicle registration details, and information about any pending challans.
After filling out the form accurately, click on the submit button.
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation message along with a link to download your Lok Adalat Token.
Ensure you download and carry the hard copies of the notices and challans from the Delhi Traffic Police website to the Lok Adalat session.
You will also need to carry certain documents to settle your traffic challans at the Lok Adalat. These include your Lok Adalat token, a copy of the pending traffic challans, vehicle registration details, a valid identification proof, your contact details, and proof of payment if any payments have already been made.
The Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to cancel all pending traffic challans of vehicles which were booked in the year 2017-2021. Announcing this in a press statement, the State Transport Commissioner (STC) has appealed to all the road users to cooperate with the traffic police in performing their duties smoothly.
