The meticulously curated route meandered through various tree plantations established by the local municipality, offering participants an up-close encounter with the diverse flora that enriches their surroundings.

Venturing deeper into the verdant landscape, the walkers approached a meticulously landscaped green space adjacent to the railway and the Pump Track. From this vantage point, they could discern the vast expanse of the municipality's arboricultural endeavors, including approximately thirty trees and a verdant border. The majestic mulberry, its leaves unfurling in anticipation of spring, stood as a testament to the municipality's commitment to preserving its natural heritage.

After a delightful picnic, the group bid farewell to half its members and continued their journey, visiting the Arbres Amoureux (Lover's Trees) before descending into the Lesparre woods along the designated trail.

Further along, the chestnut trees of Place Charles-De-Gaulle stood resplendent, their blossoms on the cusp of unfolding.
