The French government has announced that it will be offering enhanced security to cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and their families. This move comes in response to a series of incidents in which crypto entrepreneurs or members of their immediate families were targeted by armed gangs.

The government officials will be offering crypto entrepreneurs priority access to the police emergency line, as well as home visits and safety briefings.

Law enforcement officers in France will also be receiving “anti-crypto asset laundering training.” The country’s Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said the aim is to deter the attackers and protect the industry.

However, the kidnapping was foiled by the executive who reportedly tackled the masked men.
