GAIMIN’s Momentum for 2025 Continues with New Partnerships, Platform Growth, and Major Campaign Launches

Apr 30, 2025 at 07:26 pm

From product launches to new partnerships, GAIMIN’s momentum for 2025 continues.

April 2025 brought a wealth of activity to GAIMIN, marking another eventful month for the platform.

The days were filled with platform updates, major campaign launches, global recognition, and an abundance of community moments. From large-scale AMAs and panels to new strategic partnerships and a spotlight on the Game Developer Portal, here’s a look at everything that unfolded in GAIMIN’s ecosystem over the last 30 days.

A month in the spotlight: GAIMIN leadership featured across Web3 platforms

GAIMIN’s leadership team was at the forefront of several key industry discussions in April.

Knokkvi Dan Ellidason, CEO of GAIMIN, appeared in two major AMAs. The first took place on Binance Live with Crypto Astronauts, where almost 15,000 viewers tuned in to learn about GAIMIN’s latest developments in the DePIN sector. Later in the month, Knokkvi also participated in DaGama’s panel on DePIN infrastructure, offering his insights on how the industry is reshaping distributed systems through a gaming-first approach.

Adding to the visibility, Kevin Blatt, Product & Business Director at GAIMIN, was invited to speak at the Blockchain Gaming Alliance (BGA) Demo Day on April 24. His session provided a deep dive into the GAIMIN platform’s capabilities for game developers, including monetization tools, user distribution, and decentralized computing solutions. You can watch his succinct presentation about GAIMIN and the Game Developer Portal here:

This month also brought major media features. GAIMIN was spotlighted in three CoinTelegraph articles, covering topics like the future of computing, optimized file-sharing models, and the impact of DePIN in the gaming sector. Additionally, CoinMarketCap published a dedicated feature on GAIMIN’s new File-Sharing service, amplifying the project’s visibility within the broader blockchain community.

File sharing launch and ecosystem campaigns

April saw the official launch of GAIMIN’s file-sharing service, which lets clients access decentralized file distribution for sharing heavy files globally faster and cheaper. In turn, PC users can now start monetizing from this opportunity by contributing their idle storage and bandwidth to the GAIMIN network via the GAIMIN.gg app.

To celebrate the rollout, GAIMIN kicked off a 5 Million GMRX and 1 Million GMRX reward campaigns respectively in April, as additional incentives for PC users to plug into the file-sharing supply network and start earning rewards immediately. These layered campaigns generated significant interest from PC users internally and externally, helping accelerate the available storage and bandwidth capacity of the GAIMIN network, ready to serve even more clients.

The GAIMIN game developer portal goes live

For game studios and developers, April was a pivotal moment. GAIMIN fully activated its Game Developer Portal, a self-serve platform that helps studios not only launch games to GAIMIN’s user base but also scale operations post-launch.

This update was formally introduced to the blockchain gaming world at BGA Demo Day, where Kevin’s walkthrough showcased how the portal supports both Web2 and Web3 games with lower launch costs and easier adoption paths.

Strategic partnerships with Aethir

GAIMIN’s commitment to collaboration was clear this month, with the announcement of two new strategic alliances.

The first is with Aethir, another major player in the DePIN space. This partnership opens the door for shared innovations, resource collaboration, and co-marketing opportunities across both platforms. To mark the occasion, GAIMIN, Aethir, and CoinMarketCap hosted a joint AMA that drew over 21,000 participants, showcasing the strength of alignment between infrastructure-first projects.

In a different but equally exciting direction, GAIMIN announced a partnership with Tingz, an AI-powered game development platform. This partnership allows Tingz to integrate GAIMIN’s decentralized GPU network to support faster and more affordable game creation. It also unlocks opportunities for co-developing AI-based features, tapping into the growing intersection of AI and gaming.

Community engagement: GAIMtime sessions with PLYR and Zipclash

April also delivered high-quality engagement moments for the GAIMIN community through its GAIMtime streaming series.

The month featured two interactive sessions:

A collaborative AMA and gameplay event with PLYR Network, where the team introduced “Zoono,” a competitive shooter built for web3.

A demo stream for Zipclash, a new arcade-style title joining GAIMIN’s platform.

These events were broadcast live across Discord, YouTube, and Twitter, driving up community engagement and introducing new games to players already active on GAIMIN’s ecosystem.

April in summary: Highlights at a glance

Official File-Sharing Campaign launched – 5M GMRX in rewards distributed.

Developer Portal launched, supporting game studios with tools for scale.
