U.S. and British media reported on the 25th (local time) that some cryptocurrency investors who participated in a special dinner reception held by U.S. President Donald Trump last week are complaining about the event.

On the 23rd (local time), President Trump invited 220 owners of his meme coin "Trump Coin" ($TRUMP) to the "Trump National Golf Club" in Stirling, Virginia, for a dinner.

The average amount of Trump coins held by dinner participants was $1.78 million (2.42 billion won) per person, according to the British daily Telegraph.

The dinner was a fairly formal "black tie" event (an event in which you have to wear a tuxedo or dress, not a regular business suit).

However, some participants complained about the level of food and service and the atmosphere of the event.

Nicholas Pinto (25) who invested $360,000 (490 million won) in Trump Coin told Wired, a tech media outlet, "It was the worst food I've ever eaten on a Trump golf course. The only proper food was butter bread," he said. He said the food was so terrible that he left the venue without being able to eat properly.

Pinto texted an economic media outlet, Pocheon, during the event, saying the food was "trash" and that it was "cheap steak sold at Walmart."

Steve Kovaci, a reporter for CNBC, an economic broadcaster, said, "Spirit Airlines (low-cost U.S. airlines) in-flight meals were rather better."

Coin investor John Harper evaluated the fish dish at the dinner, saying, "It was like coming out of a Costco freezer corner," and told the economic media "The Street" that "even at holiday weddings, there is better food than this."

According to CNN, the main menu was Tenderloin steak or fish mashed potatoes and vegetables, followed by Trump's Organic Farm Green Salad, and the dessert was a warm chocolate Larva cake.

According to CNN's Pinto, Trump stayed at the venue for only 23 minutes and left the scene without talking to attendees or taking questions.
