BNM noted that these commemorative coins are also available for sale in sets of 2, comprising one coloured sterling silver proof coin and one Nordic gold proof coin.

The Bangko Negara Malaysia (BNM) has announced the issuance of two new commemorative coin designs in conjunction with the Johor Ruler’s (JKR) 65th birthday and the 75th anniversary of the Federal Land Development Authority (RISDA) and Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (MCDR).
The commemorative coins, which were unveiled by the central bank on Friday (Dec 4), come in two denominations — JKR (RM10) and RISDA and MCDR (RM5).
These commemorative coins are also available for sale in sets of two, comprising one coloured sterling silver proof coin and one Nordic gold proof coin.
The set of two for JKR will be sold at RM495, while the set of two for RISDA and MCDR will be sold at RM385 each.
A total of 1,000 sets per design will be available for purchase.
“To provide a fair opportunity for members of the public to buy these limited-edition coins, there will be a purchase limit for each design of one set of two, one coloured sterling silver coin (proof) and up to five Nordic gold B.U. coins per person,” it said in a statement.
The public can place orders at duit.bnm.gov.my from today to 5 am on Dec 9, 2024.
The central bank advised the public to place their orders through BNM’s online system and not with or through any other party. - BERNAMA
