The attraction has earned a prestigious reputation for telling the story of The Royal Mint, 'the original maker' of UK coins. These coins have commemorated special occasions and moments in history for monarchs since Alfred the Great.

Families can get ready to join the Pirate Takeover, happening every Wednesday, Saturday and during the August bank holiday weekend, between July 31 and August 26, 2024.

An interactive experience for both children and adults, there will be a bounty of activities to occupy your crew during the school holidays.

Visitors can expect face-to-face encounters with pesky pirates causing shenanigans, cutlass training, animal encounters, games and engaging maritime history; it's not to be missed.

During the festive season, The Royal Mint offers immersive and interactive Santa experiences. Guests can explore Santa’s enchanting UK workshop before meeting the big man himself, as well as some of his mischievous chief helpers along the way.

Christmas Experience tickets are now on sale - and this year, the festivities run from November 23 throughout December. Specific dates and tour times can be found online.
