The report indicated modest increases in personal income, disposable personal income (DPI), and personal consumption expenditures (PCE). However, the PCE Price Index remained largely unchanged at 2.7% annually in April, despite rising 0.3% on a monthly basis.

The BEA's report showed that personal income rose by $65.3 billion (0.3% at a monthly rate) in April, while DPI increased by $40.2 billion (0.2%). PCE also saw an increase of $39.1 billion (0.2%).

In contrast, the most significant decreases in goods spending were observed in recreational goods and vehicles and other nondurable goods.
