从2025年6月17日开始，曼谷Sentral NG Pilipinas（BSP）将暂时暂停其在马尼拉大都会和附近地区的硬币存款机的运行。

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will be temporarily suspending the operation of its coin deposit machines in Metro Manila and nearby areas starting June 17.

从6月17日开始，曼谷Sentral NG Pilipinas（BSP）将暂时暂停其在马尼拉大都会和附近地区的硬币存款机的运行。

The central bank is reviewing its strategies to recirculate idle coins in the economy.

中央银行正在审查其在经济中循环闲置硬币的策略。

The BSP said the machines will no longer accept coins starting June 17.

BSP表示，这些机器将从6月17日开始接受硬币。

Since the launch of the machines in June last year, the BSP has collected about P1.5 billion worth of coins.

自去年6月推出这些机器以来，BSP收集了约15亿比索的硬币。

In November last year, the BSP awarded bids for the deployment and lease of 50 coin deposit machines in the country over a three-year period—six months for deployment and 30 months for actual lease.

去年11月，BSP在三年内在该国的部署和租赁中授予了50枚硬币存款机的竞标和租赁，即部署的六个月和30个月的实际租赁。

The initiative was part of the BSP’s currency recirculation efforts.

The central bank allocated a budget of P351.6 million for the initiative.

As of May, 25 coin deposit machines had been installed in malls across Metro Manila.

The BSP said the public may also deposit coins in banks where they maintain accounts.

Unfit coins—those that are deformed or defaced—may be exchanged at any bank, regardless of account status.

不适合硬币（变形或污损的硬币），无论帐户状态如何，都可以在任何银行交换。

“Unfit coins may be presented for exchange at any bank as part of their duty to promptly remove unfit currency from circulation,” the BSP said.
