An address that is believed to be linked to World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency project backed by President Donald Trump, has been buying millions of Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) following the coin’s meteoric jump on Thursday.

What Happened: On-chain tracker Lookonchain said in an X post that the wallet bought 1,587 Aave(CRYPTO: AAVE) Ethereum WETH (aEthWETH), which is used for lending and borrowing on the DeFi platform, in a series of transactions. The total value of the purchase was $3.5 million.
