ナレンドラ・モディ首相、3期目の首相として宣誓

ナレンドラ・モディ首相は本日、3期目の首相として宣誓を行った。宣誓式で同氏は、「私ナレンドラ・ダモダル・ダス・モディは、法律で定められたインド憲法に真の信仰と忠誠を誓う、と神の名において誓います。

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in for a third term today. During the ceremony, he took the following oaths:

ナレンドラ・モディ首相は本日、3期目の就任宣誓を行った。式典中、彼は次のような宣誓を行った。

“I, Narendra Damodar Das Modi, swear in the name of God that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established. I will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India. I will discharge my duties as the Prime Minister of the Union faithfully and with good conscience. And I will do justice to all kinds of people according to the Constitution and law without fear or favour, affection or ill-will.”

「私、ナレンドラ・ダモダール・ダス・モディは、法律で定められたインド憲法に真の信仰と忠誠を誓います。私はインドの主権と一体性を守ります。私は連邦首相としての責務を忠実かつ良心をもって遂行するつもりです。そして、私は憲法と法律に従って、恐れや好意、愛情や悪意を持たずに、あらゆる種類の人々に正義を尽くします。」

“I, Narendra Damodar Das Modi, swear in the name of God that I will not communicate or disclose, directly or indirectly, any matter which shall be brought to my consideration or shall become known to me as Prime Minister of the Union, to any person or persons except as may be required to do so in the discharge of my duties as Prime Minister.”

「私、ナレンドラ・ダモダル・ダス・モディは、私が考慮に入れられるであろう事柄、あるいは連邦首相として私に知られることになるいかなる事柄についても、直接間接を問わず、いかなる者にも伝えたり開示したりしないことを神の名において誓います。首相としての職務を遂行する上でそうする必要がある場合を除き、個人または複数の人々。」

After PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and J.P. Nadda were also sworn in. Following J.P. Nadda, Shivraj Singh Chauhan and then Nirmala Sitharaman were sworn in by President Draupadi Murmu.

モディ首相に続いて、アミット・シャー氏、ラジナート・シン氏、ニティン・ガドカリ氏、JP・ナッダ氏も宣誓した。JP・ナッダ氏に続いて、シヴラージ・シン・チョーハン氏、そしてニルマラ・シタラマン氏がドラウパディ・ムルム大統領によって就任した。

PM Modi has taken oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Seychelles Vice President Ahmed Afeef, Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar.

モディ首相は3回連続で同国の首相として宣誓した。宣誓式にはバングラデシュのシェイク・ハシナ首相、セイシェルのアハメド・アフィーフ副大統領、モルディブのモハメド・ムイズ大統領、モーリシャスのプラビンド・クマール首相が出席した。
