While the villagers were at Naugaon police station to file a report about the initial vandalism, they came to know that the statue has been broken again. This news sparked anger among the villagers, who raised slogans in protest.

Also present were Naugaon police station in-charge Sunil Sharma, Kotwali in-charge Sameer Patidar, SDM Roshni Patidar and CSP Ravindra Vaskel, who reached the spot to control the situation.

The officials said that the villagers did not seek permission from the administration to install another statue after the miscreants vandalised it for the first time. In response, villagers said that no permission is needed to honour a great leader.

Earlier, the administration removed the statue after the miscreants vandalised it for the first time despite the fact that the villagers protested against it. However, this time, administration did not remove the statue.
