30 Years Of PlayStation Celebrated In A Single Jacket

In the early 1990s, the console war was fought between Nintendo and Sega. Then PlayStation came along and shook things up a little bit. Well, actually, it shook things up quite a lot.

PlayStation is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and Insert Coin is kicking off the celebrations early with a special jacket.

The jacket is black with a grey square on the chest with a black PlayStation logo inside it. On the back, also in grey, are the iconic PlayStation button symbols with the word PlayStation written underneath, and then Japanese writing underneath that.

The inside is lined with a black and white tartan-style material, and it looks incredibly comfy. A perfect yet subtle way to celebrate PlayStation turning 30. Not something many console creators can boast, and a milestone even fewer can claim to have hit while remaining as relevant as PlayStation has. The only competitor that can truly claim they've celebrated 30 years in the console space while remaining as relevant as PlayStation is Nintendo.
