Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have been on a remarkable inflow streak over the past two weeks.

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs on a Roll

Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen a remarkable period of consistent inflows over the past two weeks, highlighting the sustained institutional demand for these digital assets.

According to data from Sosovalue, which tracks the performance of ETFs, bitcoin spot ETFs had a total net inflow of $223 million on Dec. 11, marking the 10th consecutive day of sustained net inflows. Among the bitcoin spot ETFs, Fidelity ETF (FBTC) had the largest net inflow on Dec. 11 with $122 million.

Over the 10-day period, bitcoin ETFs recorded a total net inflow of $4.29 billion, pushing the total net assets to $113.72 billion. This figure represents 5.67% of bitcoin's market capitalization.

Meanwhile, ether ETFs also enjoyed a consistent and substantial flow of inflows. On Dec. 11, ether spot ETFs had a total net inflow of $102 million, marking the 13th day of consecutive net inflows. Among the ether spot ETFs, Blackrock ETF (ETHA) had the highest daily net inflow with $74.1 million.

Over the 13-day period, ether ETFs had $1.95 billion in inflows, and the total net assets increased to $13.18 billion, which represents 2.86% of ether's market capitalization.

The sustained interest in ETFs is further highlighted by the significant contribution of these funds to the total revenue of issuers. As noted by Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst for Bloomberg in a recent post on his X handle, BTCW ETF contributed 95% to Wisdomtree's revenue, IBIT contributed 36.1% to Blackrock's revenue, and BTCO contributed 28.3% to Invesco's revenue.

These sustained inflows into bitcoin and ether ETFs will likely be closely monitored by both institutional and retail investors, especially in terms of how these inflow streaks might translate into sustained price performance and further crypto adoption.
