The buzz around the Amarnath Yatra is palpable, and things are officially underway in Jammu! The token distribution center for offline registration is now operational, paving the way for devotees to embark on this spiritual journey.

Offline Tokens: Your Ticket to Registration

Located at Saraswati Dham in Jammu, the token distribution center is already seeing enthusiastic participation. Pilgrims are braving the elements to secure their tokens, which are essential for on-the-spot registration. According to Manu Hansa, sub-divisional magistrate, tokens are being distributed for both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes. Once you have a token, you can register and then start from the Jammu base camp on July 2nd.

Registration Details

Registration commences the day after you get the token, at three centers: Vaishnavi Dham, Panchayat Bhawan, and Mahajan Sabha. The token center opens bright and early at 7 am. Keep in mind that there’s a daily quota of 2,000 tokens and registrations, so it's best to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Smooth Sailing on the Highway

The authorities aren't taking any chances when it comes to safety. A dry run of the convoy along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been successfully conducted, ensuring a trouble-free Yatra. Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar and Inspector General of Police Bhim Sen Tuti even joined the convoy, which departed from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp at 4:30 AM.
