How to Sign a Message with MetaMask1. Open the MetaMask Extension

2. Unlock Your MetaMask Account
  • Enter your password and click "Unlock".

10. Retrieve the Signature

  • Click on the clipboard icon next to the "Signed Message" field.
  • The signature will be copied to your clipboard.
11. Verify the Signature (Optional)
  • To verify the signature, you can use a third-party tool or service that supports message signing with Ethereum.
  • Enter the message and signature in the appropriate fields.
  • The tool will verify the validity of the signature and inform you whether it matches the specified address.
