How to trade USDT futures on Bybit?

Bybit provides diversified USDT contract trading, where investors can use leverage to amplify returns, but they need to be cautious in managing risks and be familiar with the operational steps such as registration, deposit, trading and closing positions.

In the field of digital currency trading, Bybit, as a well-known cryptocurrency trading platform, provides users with a variety of trading options, among which USDT contract trading has attracted much attention. USDT, or Tether, is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, which makes it an important tool for many investors to trade and maintain their assets in the highly volatile cryptocurrency market. Trading USDT contracts on Bybit allows investors to use leverage to amplify returns, and of course it is also accompanied by corresponding risks. Next, we will introduce in detail the specific steps for trading USDT contracts on Bybit.

Registration and Account Authentication

First, visit the Bybit official website, click the "Register" button, follow the prompts to fill in a valid email address and set password to complete the registration process. After successful registration, account authentication is required to increase transaction limit and ensure account security. Click on the personal avatar, select "Identity Authentication", upload clear ID photos (such as passports, ID cards, etc.) as required, and complete facial recognition verification. After the authentication is passed, your account will obtain the corresponding trading permissions.

Fund deposit

After logging into your Bybit account, click the "Wallet" option at the top of the page to enter the fund management page. In the "Recharge" section, select "USDT", and the platform will provide you with a variety of recharge methods, such as transferring money through a digital currency wallet. Copy the USDT recharge address generated by the platform and transfer the USDT from your other wallets to that address. After the transfer is completed, wait for the blockchain to confirm, and the funds will usually arrive within a few minutes and be displayed in your Bybit account.

Contract trading operations

  1. Enter the trading interface: Click the "Trade" tab, select "Permanent Contract", and find the "USDT" related contracts in the trading pair list, such as "BTC/USDT Perpetual Contract", etc.

  2. Set trading parameters: On the left side of the trading interface, set the trading type (market order, limit order, etc.), the leverage multiple (selected based on your own risk tolerance, such as 10 times, 20 times, etc.) and the number of transactions. For example, if you expect the price of Bitcoin to rise, you can choose to buy and open long; if you think the price will fall, you can choose to sell and open short.

  3. Order transaction: After setting the parameters, click the "Buy Long" or "Sell Short" button. After confirming that the order information is correct, click "Confirm Order". At this point, your trading instructions will be submitted to the market for execution. If you set a limit order, the order will be sold only when the market price reaches the price you set; the market order will be sold immediately at the best price in the current market.

Risk management and closing positions

During the trading process, you should always pay attention to the market conditions and your position. To control risks, stop loss and take profit can be set. In the position interface, click the "Stop Loss and Take Profit" button to set the corresponding price. When the market price touches the stop loss or take profit price, the system will automatically close the position to lock in profits or limit losses. When you want to end the transaction, click the "Close Position" button, select all or partial closing positions, and after confirmation, you can complete the settlement of the contract transaction.
When trading USDT contracts on Bybit, you need to be familiar with each link, carefully set trading parameters and manage risks. I hope the above tutorial will help you successfully start your USDT contract trading journey on the Bybit platform. However, the cryptocurrency market is volatile, so you must be cautious when investing and trading.
