History of KuCoin2017: KuCoin was founded in September by Johnny Lyu and a team of experienced blockchain professionals.
2018: KuCoin launched its first exchange platform, offering a variety of cryptocurrency trading pairs and features.
2019: KuCoin raised $20 million in Series A funding, led by IDG Capital and Matrix Partners.
2020: KuCoin launched its KCS token and established the KuCoin Spotlight program to support promising cryptocurrency projects.
2021: KuCoin became one of the top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges by trading volume.
The ownership structure of KuCoin is as follows:
