The rise began on Wednesday evening when U.S. President Trump hinted at an impending trade agreement between the U.S. and the U.K., which attracted market attention. At the same time, U.S. stocks also rose across the board.

Although the Trump administration’s tough rhetoric on tariffs has eased somewhat, the market is still waiting for a clear direction on its trade policy.

On Thursday, shares of the cryptocurrency trading platform Coinbase rose over 5%, and shares of investment strategy company Strategy also increased. Other cryptocurrencies also rebounded, although their overall performance this year has lagged behind Bitcoin. Ethereum rose about 18%, Solana-related tokens advanced by 10%, and Dogecoin gained 12%.

Since Trump announced a new round of tariffs in early April this year, Bitcoin has risen over 17%. During the same period, spot gold has increased by more than 5%, while the S&P 500 index has slightly declined.

However, Trenchev noted that Bitcoin can only be considered to have truly exited the adjustment zone once it breaks through the January high of around $109,350. He expects Bitcoin to trade in a range of $70,000 to $109,000 over the next two months.
