Margão | In a hard fought match, Guardian Angel Sports Club edged past Peddem Bomm Sports Club by 2-1 to clinch the 17th London Trophy 2025 inter village football tournament, organised by Goa Velha Sports Club at the St. Andre Panchayat ground on Sunday morning.

Antonio Francisco Albuquerque gave away the Runners Up Prize of Rs. 80,000 to Peddem Bomm Sports Club along with the Trophy.

The match began slowly with both teams feeling each other out. However, once the first goal was scored, the tempo of the game increased. The first half saw some good football being displayed by both teams.
