Currently, the U.S. holds the world’s largest gold reserve at 8,133 metric tons, officially valued at $42 per ounce since 1973, which totals $11 billion. However, if valued at today’s market rate of around $3,200 per ounce, the reserve would amount to over $834 billion, presenting a theoretical surplus of more than $820 billion to purchase Bitcoin.
