Subway Summer Slam이 곧 출시됩니다!

영국 농구 연맹은 남수단과 독일을 상대로 GB 남자 및 여자 경기가 올 여름 Copper Box에서 열릴 것이라고 확정했습니다.

Great Britain Basketball have announced that the men’s and women’s teams will play South Sudan and Germany, respectively, at the Copper Box this summer.

영국 농구 협회(Great Britain Basketball)는 남자팀과 여자팀이 올 여름 Copper Box에서 각각 남수단과 독일과 경기를 펼칠 것이라고 발표했습니다.

The men’s game will be a remarkable moment for Luol Deng – who starred for GB at the London 2012 Olympics and now returns as President of the South Sudan Basketball Federation, who he has led to Olympic qualification in a fairytale story, while his former Olympic teammate Dan Clark is now the GM of the Great Britain side.

남자 경기는 2012년 런던 올림픽에서 GB의 주역으로 뛰었고 현재 남수단 농구 연맹 회장으로 복귀한 Luol Deng에게 놀라운 순간이 될 것입니다. 그는 동화 속에서 올림픽 본선 진출을 이끈 동시에 전 올림픽 팀 동료이기도 했습니다. Dan Clark은 현재 영국 측 GM입니다.

The women’s game against Germany will see Anna Montañana take charge as GB women’s head coach for the first time, following her appointment earlier this year.

독일과의 여자대표팀 경기에서는 안나 몬타냐나가 올해 초 임명된 후 처음으로 GB 여자대표팀 감독직을 맡게 된다.

“These games are taking place just ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics but we already have our sights set on the journey to the Los Angeles Games in 2028,” GB Basketball Chair, Chris Grant said.

GB 농구 위원장인 크리스 그랜트(Chris Grant)는 "이 경기들은 2024년 파리 올림픽을 앞두고 열리지만 우리는 이미 2028년 로스앤젤레스 올림픽을 향한 여정을 목표로 삼고 있습니다"라고 말했습니다.

“There’s no doubt that we have the talent to be a force both on and off the court. The momentum is building, and we would love to see as many fans of British Basketball as possible filling the seats at the Copper Box to support the players as we take our next steps.

“우리가 코트 안팎에서 힘이 될 수 있는 재능을 갖고 있다는 것은 의심의 여지가 없습니다. 추진력이 형성되고 있으며, 우리는 다음 단계를 밟을 때 선수들을 지원하기 위해 가능한 한 많은 영국 농구 팬이 Copper Box의 좌석을 채우는 모습을 보고 싶습니다.

“This is an exciting new era for GB Basketball following our work to rebuild and raise standards in recent months. There couldn’t be a better time to team up with such a well-loved and established global brand. These games will be the first activation of our partnership with Subway.
