Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Sikkim on May 28, 2025, to release a Rs 50 commemorative coin during a large-scale public ceremony at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok.

The event will mark 50 years since Sikkim joined the Indian Union on May 16, 1975.

이 행사는 1975 년 5 월 16 일 시킴이 인디언 연합에 합류 한 지 50 년이 걸릴 것입니다.

Also present at the ceremony will be Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, state ministers, and other prominent figures.

이 행사에서도 시킴 프리프 싱 타낭 (Prem Singh Tamang), 주 장관 및 기타 저명한 인물들도 참석할 것입니다.

The Prime Minister's visit was announced by CM Tamang on May 14, 2025, during a press conference at the State Secretariat in Gangtok.

According to renowned numismatist Shri Sudhir Lunawat, the Rs 50 commemorative coin will be minted in 40 grams of pure silver.

유명한 화폐 학자 인 Shri Sudhir Lunawat에 따르면, Rs 50 기념 동전은 40 그램의 순수한 은색으로 발행 될 것입니다.

One side of the coin will feature an artistic design depicting Sikkim's 50-year journey, with the inscription "50 Glorious Years of Sikkim" in Hindi along the upper rim and English along the lower rim.

동전의 한쪽은 시킴의 50 년 여행을 묘사 한 예술 디자인을 특징으로하며, 어퍼 림을 따라 힌디어로 "50 년의 영광스러운 시킴 (Sikkim)의 50 년 동안", 하단 테두리를 따라 영어를 사용합니다.

The reverse side of the coin will display the Lion Capital of Ashoka, with the ₹ symbol and the numeral 50 positioned below it. The word "भारत" (Bharat) in Hindi will be on the left side, and "India" will be on the right.

동전의 뒷면은 아쉬카의 사자 수도를 표시하며 ₹ 기호와 그 아래에 위치 된 숫자 50이 표시됩니다. 힌디어로 된 "त 접한"(Bharat)이라는 단어는 왼쪽에 있고 "인도"가 오른쪽에있을 것입니다.

Manufactured by the Government of India Mint in Kolkata, the coin was officially announced through a Gazette Notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on May 13, 2025.
