A mini-golf course in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, US, is set to reopen following a series of updates and upgrades from its new operators.
Oshkosh Mills Adventure Golf, an 18-hole outdoor mini-golf course, has been given a new lease on life by local business owners Joshua and Rachel Holz.
The duo, who will run the course for two seasons according to the company's Facebook page, have updated the course and clubhouse and also added a small arcade to the location.
Joshua and Rachel Holz already own a mini-golf venue in the city called Glow in the Park, which opened in July 2022.
The work on their new project began at the start of April and they have fitted new arcade games, including air hockey, skee-ball and Pac-Man, as well as installing new outdoor lighting.
The pair did have a slight setback at the beginning of May when they attempted to get the waterfall features pump working.
“We had a steep learning curve and accidentally flooded the interior of the waterfall, which, based on our estimation, caused roughly 30 years of brown sediment to fill the ponds, making it look like we are in the Mississippi Bayou,” Holz said in a Facebook post.
The final upgrades to the course were fitted in the past week and features a new course-wide sound system that they hope will lower the noise from the nearby highway.
Oshkosh Mills Adventure Golf, which is set to open in May, is expected to announce an exact opening date this week.
