フィジーとニュージーランド、2030年までに20億ドルの双方向貿易目標を設定

フィジーとニュージーランドは、2030年までに20億ドル相当の双方向貿易の目標を設定した。シティヴェニ・ラブカ氏とクリストファー・ルクソン氏の両首相は今週会談し、合意した。

Fiji and New Zealand are aiming for $2 billion in two-way trade by 2030.

フィジーとニュージーランドは、2030年までに双方向貿易で20億ドルを目指している。

The target was agreed upon by Prime Ministers Sitiveni Rabuka and Christopher Luxon during their meeting this week.

この目標は、今週の会談でシティヴェニ・ラブカ首相とクリストファー・ルクソン首相によって合意された。

Speaking at the official opening of the Fiji New Zealand-New Zealand Fiji Business Councils’ 2024 Joint Conference at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa in Nadi on Wednesday, Mr Rabuka said trade between the two countries is currently at a record high.

水曜日、ナンディのソフィテル・フィジー・リゾート＆スパで開催されたフィジー・ニュージーランド・ニュージーランド・フィジービジネス評議会の2024年合同会議の公式開会式で講演したラブカ氏は、両国間の貿易は現在過去最高水準にあると述べた。

He said two-way trade has increased by more than 38 per cent in the past year to $NZ1.36b ($F1.9b).

同氏は、双方向貿易は過去1年間で38％以上増加し、13億6000万ニュージーランドドル（19億フラン）となったと述べた。

The PM highlighted the growth of New Zealand’s exports to Fiji by more than 34 per cent to $NZ838million ($1.16b).

首相は、ニュージーランドの対フィジー輸出が34％以上増加し、8億3,800万ニュージーランドドル（11億6,000万ドル）となったことを強調した。

“However, Fiji’s exports to New Zealand have grown even more impressively by 45 per cent to $NZ516m ($F719m),” Mr Rabuka said.

「しかし、フィジーのニュージーランドへの輸出はさらに目覚ましい成長を遂げ、45％増の5億1,600万ニュージーランドドル（7億1,900万フラン）となった」とラブカ氏は語った。

“By all measures, these have broken all historical records.”

Mr Rabuka also welcomed the opening of New Zealand’s Pacific Trade Commission in Suva, which he said underscores Fiji’s role as a major trade and economic hub for the region.

He said a number of New Zealand companies have invested in Fiji over the years, creating jobs while also producing some of the world’s best goods and services.

New Zealand has also consistently been a significant market for Fiji, accounting for the second largest share of all tourists visiting our shores.
