FIFA, the global governing body of football, is making a significant shift in its Web3 strategy by migrating its NFT collection, FIFA Collect, to a new network called the FIFA Blockchain.

This move, which follows FIFA’s long-term interest in blockchain and commitment to digital fan experiences, will see the creation of an EMV-compatible chain. This means it will support popular wallets like MetaMask and open the door to broader Ethereum-based ecosystem tools.
