Launched on June 15th, COMP was distributed to token borrowers and suppliers on the Compound platform. Following its distribution, the COMP token began trading on decentralized exchange Uniswap at a price of approximately $30. Since then, the token has experienced a surge in value, reaching a price of $249 as of June 20th, according to data from CoinGecko.
