ARK Invest, known for its bold outlooks on emerging technologies and financial trends, has revised its projections for Bitcoin (BTC) significantly upward. The asset manager now predicts that BTC could reach a potential high of $2.4 million by the end of 2030.

Earlier this year, ARK Invest unveiled its bear, base, and bull case price targets for Bitcoin at the beginning of 2025. At the time, the firm's estimates stood at $300,000, $700,000, and $1.5 million, respectively.

According to David Puell, a research trading analyst at ARK, the forecast is contingent upon Bitcoin’s penetration of key total addressable markets (TAMs). These include institutional investments, nation-state reserves, and corporate treasury holdings.

"If we fail to see that level of market adoption for Bitcoin in these three markets, then we may not reach these price levels," Puell stated.
