マトゥンガのアシカ サマジ寺院は高齢の信者（80 歳以上）を讃える

寺院のホールで開催された盛大な行事では、100人以上の超高齢者がショール、サリー、銀貨で祝賀されました。

Matunga’s Asthika Samaj temple honoured elderly devotees (aged above 80) on Sunday morning, celebrating their unwavering faith and lifelong commitment to the community.

マトゥンガのアスティカ サマージ寺院は日曜日の朝、高齢の信者（80歳以上）を讃え、彼らの揺るぎない信仰と地域社会への生涯にわたる献身を祝った。

In a grand function organised at the temple hall, over a hundred super senior citizens were felicitated with a shawl, saree, and a silver coin. A total of 166 devotees, 57 married couples along with 27 single men and 25 single women, were honoured.

寺院のホールで開催された盛大な行事では、100人以上の超高齢者がショール、サリー、銀貨で祝賀されました。 57組の夫婦と27人の独身男性と25人の独身女性の計166人の信者が表彰された。

The grand felicitation ceremony was carried out as a concluding event of the centenary celebrations of the temple. It was conducted by the temple committee, whose representatives threw light on the history of the Asthika Samaj and how it came into being while carrying out the ceremony.

開創100周年記念行事の締めくくりとして盛大な祝賀式が執り行われた。これは寺院委員会によって実施され、その代表者がアシカ・サマージの歴史と、儀式の実施中にそれがどのようにして誕生したかに光を当てました。

"The Samaj was formed in 1923-24. It started with few people who came from Palakkad, Kerala to Matunga, Mumbai. They would come here after their office to recite Vishnu Sahasranamam with a Lord Rama picture in front of them... Now, we have completed 100 years," said one of the officials of the temple while addressing the people.

「サマージは 1923 年から 1924 年に結成されました。ケーララ州パルカッドからムンバイのマトゥンガに来た少数の人々から始まりました。彼らはオフィスを終えてここに来て、ラーマ神の絵を前にヴィシュヌ サハスラナマムを暗唱しました...現在、私たちは100年を終えました」と寺院の関係者の一人は人々に語りかけながら言いました。

He noted that the temple has been known for spreading the concept of 'Sampradaya Bhajan'. He proudly said that this culture from South India was introduced in Mumbai first by the Asthika Samaj.

同氏は、この寺院は「サンプラダヤ・バジャン」の概念を広めたことで知られていると指摘した。彼は、南インドのこの文化はアシカ・サマージによって最初にムンバイに導入されたと誇らしげに語った。

The event started with shloka recitation dedicated to Lord Murugan and Lord Rama, followed by the chanting of Vedic hymns by temple pandits.

このイベントは、ムルガン神とラーマ神に捧げられたシュローカの朗読で始まり、続いて寺院の僧侶によるヴェーダ賛歌の朗読が行われました。

Soon, each devotee, who mostly gathered there with their family members, received the honour. They were felicitated with a memento and temple prasadam along with a shawl and silk saree for men and women, respectively. A silver coin was also presented to each devotee by the temple dignitaries, Sunder Ramakrishnan, Parameshwar Iyer and others.

すぐに、主に家族とともにそこに集まっていた各信者がこの栄誉を受け取りました。彼らは男性用と女性用のショールとシルクサリーとともに、記念品と寺院のプラサダムで祝福されました。また、寺院の高官サンダー・ラーマクリシュナン氏、パラメッシュワール・アイヤー氏らから各信者に銀貨が贈呈された。

Viswanathan KA, a devotee and local resident, stated that earlier to the event, the committee members personally visited the houses of every senior person and extended an invite for the grand celebration.

信者で地元住民のヴィスワナサン・KA氏は、イベントの初めに委員会メンバーがすべての高齢者の家を個人的に訪問し、盛大な祝賀会に招待したと述べた。
