The new Season 8 update brought with it a new set of Hunter's Essence wings.
It seems that the triple-edged veil set's unique effect is bugged and doesn't work as intended.
The set's unique effect is supposed to reduce incoming damage by 10% for each different set item equipped. However, it appears to be applying the 10% damage reduction multiple times if you have more than three set items equipped.
For example, if you have four set items equipped, you'll receive 40% reduced incoming damage, and if you have five set items equipped, you'll receive 50% reduced incoming damage.
This bug is rather significant as it can grant an enormous survivability increase. Triple-edged veil is also a very strong set for offense due to its set bonuses increasing critical strike chance and damage.
This makes the set viable for multiple builds, and its unique effect can further increase its strength.
Hopefully, this bug will be patched soon so that the set's unique effect can work as intended.
