Peter Schiff took potshots at the private gala dinner invitation to top holders of Official Trump (CRYPTO: TRUMP) meme coin, equating it to corruption charges against Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

What Happened: In an X post on Monday, Schiff jabbed Donald Trump Jr., suggesting that he partnered with President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency donors and insiders to launch "The Executive Branch."

"I guess even Trump Jr. is getting in on the grift. Amazing how quickly these opportunistic types pounce when they smell corruption. Deep State donors and cronies swindling the system while the middle class struggles to survive," Schiff stated.

He further added, "Maybe they can organize a private equity firm to bail out Hunter Biden's new cannabis company. The Biden administration is setting a terrible example with its corruption."

Later in another post, Schiff shared a news article regarding the invitation to the top 220 TRUMP meme coin holders for a private dinner with POTUS, which has sparked charges of corruption.

Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) deemed selling access in exchange for payments an impeachable offense, while Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) requested that the U.S. Office of Government Ethics intervene in the matter.

Trump Organization, which manages the former president's businesses, has stated that TRUMP is not a political initiative or investment opportunity but rather an expression of support for Trump's ideals.

The organization has also pointed out that Trump does not personally endorse any cryptocurrency or advise any individual to invest in such assets.

The Trump Organization further clarified that the dinner is a personal event organized by the president, and his political or campaign activities are not related to it.
