DDC Enterprise Ltd. (NYSEAM: DDC), a Chinese publicly traded company, reported record 2024 financial results and announced plans to acquire 5,000 bitcoin ( BTC)

DDC Enterprise Ltd. (NYSEAM:DDC), a Chinese company traded on the New York Stock Exchange Aim (NYSE AM), reported record financial results for 2024 and announced plans to integrate bitcoin into its corporate treasury strategy.
According to its shareholder letter, DDC’s revenue soared by 33% year-over-year to $37.4 million, driven by strategic U.S. brand acquisitions and stable performance in its core Chinese market.
Gross profit margins expanded to 28.4%, an improvement from 25% in 2023, while adjusted EBITDA losses narrowed to $3.5 million.
Shareholders’ equity also saw an increase of 33% to $11.3 million, supported by debt conversions and equity issuances.
Two key 2025 initiatives were highlighted: a China joint venture projected to generate $3 million in annual net profit and its bitcoin (BTC) reserve strategy.
According to Chairwoman Norma Chu, the company’s goal is to accumulate 5,000 BTC over three years.
Her vision for bitcoin as a macroeconomic hedge and long-term value creation cornerstone was shared, aligning with the company’s broader efforts to diversify reserves and enhance shareholder returns.
Chu noted: “Bitcoin’s unique properties as a store of value and hedge against macroeconomic uncertainty align perfectly with our vision to diversify reserves and enhance shareholder returns.”
A dedicated treasury team and crypto-focused advisors will be deployed to manage the purchases as part of a new corporate reserve strategy.
The company held $23.6 million in cash and short-term investments as of March 31, 2025, though specific bitcoin allocation figures were not disclosed.
Chu emphasized her confidence in blockchain technology’s transformative role, positioning DDC as a pioneer in corporate digital asset adoption.
This strategy aligns with broader efforts to diversify reserves and enhance shareholder returns.
Looking ahead, the company expects to achieve positive adjusted EBITDA in 2025, leveraging operational efficiencies and strategic investments.
Shareholders were thanked for their support as the company seeks to shape the future of corporate finance.
