Two-Day Virtual Event Takes Place September 25-26, 2025
May 13, 2025 at 09:10 pm

American Public University System (APUS) invites experts, researchers, and students to submit proposals to present at the 6th annual Space Education and Strategic Applications (SESA) Conference, taking place virtually on September 25-26, 2025.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope being launched into orbit by the space shuttle Discovery, a mission that redefined the modern understanding of the cosmos.
The conference will focus on celebrating this astronomical milestone and highlighting the contributions of the Hubble Telescope to human knowledge.
Proposals are due July 15, 2025, via the online form: SESA 2025: Celebrating the Cosmos.
Topics include: space domain awareness, cybersecurity in space, the future of space exploration, and the role of technology in advancing space science. Presenters will speak for 15-20 minutes on their assigned day (Sept. 25 or Sept. 26), and choose a panel topic from a wide range of space-related subjects. Accepted presenters may also submit a 3–6-page article for publication in the SESA Journal Conference Proceedings.
"We are thrilled to continue the tradition of the SESA Conference, bringing together brilliant minds to engage in lively discussions about critical topics in space exploration, education, and strategic applications," said Brian Freeland, Dean of the School of STEM and School of Health Sciences at APUS.
Hubble has been our celestial time machine, revealing the past, present, and future of our universe. SESA 2025 is an opportunity to build on its pivotal discoveries and chart new frontiers in space exploration and potential discovery.”
