Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction: Will It Drop Below $60,000 as Delta Gradient Turns Negative?
Jun 30, 2024 at 02:00 pm
If Bitcoin's [BTC] price action rhymes with historical patterns, then it is about to go lower than it has in the last few days. In short, this projected decline could last a month or two.

If Bitcoin’s [BTC] price action follows historical patterns, it could soon drop lower than it has in recent days. This projected decline could last a month or two, according to a recent analysis by AMBCrypto.
One key metric that aligns with this prediction is the Delta Gradient, which measures the relative change in momentum against the true organic capital of a cryptocurrency. When the gradient is positive, it typically indicates an uptrend, which can last 28 to 60 days.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin’s downtrend was -2.34, indicating a negative reading. This suggests that the price may continue to experience a downtrend, which could last a similar duration.
According to AMBCrypto’s analysis, BTC was trading at $61,062, with a 4.96% decrease in the last seven days. If the Delta Gradient continues to drop, Bitcoin’s price could fall below $60,000, as it did recently.
This analysis also aligns with Bitcoin’s response to the period when the Realized Price rose above the spot value. Additionally, the Network Realized Profit/Loss was examined.
This metric showcases the value of transactions that have realized a profit or loss recently. A positive reading of the metric indicates high profit-taking, which could lead to lower prices.
However, if the metric is negative, it suggests a surge in realized losses, which, if intense, may indicate an upcoming rise in price.
According to the analysis, Bitcoin’s Network Realized Profit/Loss was -1.92 million, indicating that a大部分 of the transactions on-chain ended in losses.
Typically, this decline is expected to foreshadow a price increase. However, due to the dwindling activity on Bitcoin’s network, this may not be the case.
At the time of writing, the 24-hour Active Addresses had dropped to 694,000, down from almost one million a few days ago. Active addresses is a measure of user activity.
When it decreases, as it has recently, it indicates that market participants are not interacting with BTC at a high level, which could lead to a significant decline in demand for the coin.
Despite this analysis, others, such as analyst Michael van de Poppe, believe that BTC’s correction might be coming to an end, highlighting a good week for the coin.
