What is SHIB?

SHIB, short for Shiba Inu, is a decentralized cryptocurrency created in August 2020 by an anonymous individual or group known as Ryoshi. It is inspired by the popular "Doge" meme and is often referred to as the "Dogecoin killer".

Detailed Introduction to SHIB Coin Online Trading Platform

SHIB is primarily traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), which allow users to buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies directly with each other without the need for an intermediary. Some popular DEXs that list SHIB include:

  1. Uniswap: A leading DEX that enables users to trade tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.
  2. SushiSwap: Another popular DEX that offers a wide range of trading pairs, including SHIB.
  3. 1inch: An aggregator DEX that searches multiple DEXs for the best prices and executes trades across multiple platforms.

In addition to DEXs, SHIB can also be traded on centralized exchanges (CEXs), which are operated by a third party that holds custody of the funds. Some CEXs that have listed SHIB include:

  1. Binance: The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
  2. Crypto.com: A popular exchange that offers a variety of cryptocurrencies and trading pairs.
  3. Kraken: A long-established exchange known for its security and reliability.

Total Amount of SHIB

The circulating supply of SHIB as of February 2023 is approximately 589 trillion coins. However, the total supply of SHIB is much larger, with a maximum supply of 1 quadrillion coins. The developers of SHIB burned 50% of the total supply upon creation and sent the remaining 50% to Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, who later donated 50 trillion SHIB to the India COVID-19 relief fund.
