How to manage NFTs in Phantom? (Collectibles tab)

Phantom lets you view, send, and list NFTs across Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon—filtering spam, pulling on-chain metadata, and connecting seamlessly to marketplaces like Magic Eden.

Accessing the Collectibles Tab

1. Open the Phantom wallet extension or mobile application on your device.

2. Ensure you are logged into the correct wallet address associated with your NFT holdings.

3. Tap or click the Collectibles tab located at the bottom navigation bar on mobile or in the left sidebar on desktop.

4. The interface automatically loads all NFTs minted on supported chains including Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon.

5. Phantom filters out spam tokens and low-confidence listings by default, enhancing visibility of verified assets.

Viewing NFT Details and Metadata

1. Select any NFT card to open its dedicated detail view.

2. The screen displays the asset’s name, collection name, token ID, blockchain origin, and current ownership status.

3. A full-resolution image or interactive 3D model renders if the metadata includes proper IPFS or Arweave links.

4. Embedded attributes such as rarity scores, trait breakdowns, and floor price history appear beneath the visual preview.

5. Phantom pulls metadata directly from on-chain storage or trusted off-chain gateways—no third-party API intermediaries are involved.

Transferring and Sending NFTs

1. From the NFT detail screen, tap the Send button located in the top-right corner.

2. Enter a valid recipient wallet address compatible with the same chain as the NFT.

3. Confirm the transaction fee estimate displayed in native currency—this varies depending on network congestion and token standard (ERC-721 vs SPL).

4. Review the warning banner indicating irreversible transfer once confirmed on-chain.

5. Approve the transaction using your wallet password or biometric authentication method.

Connecting to Marketplaces

1. Within the Collectibles tab, each NFT card shows a List button if the underlying contract supports direct marketplace integration.

2. Tapping it redirects to pre-approved platforms like Magic Eden, Tensor, or Blur without requiring manual address copy-paste.

3. Phantom injects your wallet signature seamlessly, bypassing repeated login prompts across domains.

4. Supported marketplaces reflect real-time bid activity, listing expiration windows, and royalty enforcement status.

5. No external wallet connection is needed—the session remains active and scoped exclusively to that NFT’s contract address.

Troubleshooting Visibility Issues

1. If an expected NFT does not appear, verify that its chain matches Phantom’s active network selection.

2. Manually add unsupported tokens using the Add Custom Token option under Settings > Networks.

3. Check whether the NFT uses a non-standard implementation—for example, batch-minted tokens with dynamic URI generation may not resolve correctly.

4. Clear local cache via Settings > Advanced > Reset Wallet Data to force a fresh metadata fetch.

5. Phantom does not auto-import NFTs held in hardware wallets unless explicitly signed and broadcast through its interface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I view NFTs minted on Base or Blast chains in Phantom?A: Phantom currently supports Base and Blast only through custom RPC configuration—not enabled by default. Users must manually input node endpoints and chain IDs under Network Settings.

Q: Why do some NFTs show “Unknown Collection” even after successful minting?A: This occurs when the contract lacks standardized metadata fields or points to an offline or rate-limited URI endpoint. Phantom cannot render unresolvable metadata.

Q: Does Phantom support multi-signature wallets for NFT transfers?A: Phantom does not natively support multisig signing flows for NFT transactions. Transfers require execution from a single-owner wallet address.

Q: Is there a way to hide specific NFTs from the Collectibles tab without removing them from the blockchain?A: Yes. Long-press or right-click an NFT card to reveal a Hide option. Hidden items remain on-chain but are filtered from the default view.
