How to Sell Huobi Perpetual Contracts

Perpetual contracts are a type of financial derivative that allows traders to speculate on the future price of an asset without having to take ownership of the underlying asset. They are similar to futures contracts but do not have a fixed expiration date. This means that traders can hold positions for as long as they wish.

Huobi is one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges and offers a variety of perpetual contracts for trading. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps on how to sell Huobi perpetual contracts.

Step 1: Open a Huobi Account

If you do not already have a Huobi account, you will need to open one before you can start trading perpetual contracts. You can open an account by visiting the Huobi website and clicking on the "Register" button.

Step 2: Fund Your Account

Once you have opened an account, you will need to fund it with cryptocurrency. You can do this by clicking on the "Deposit" button on the Huobi homepage.

Huobi offers a variety of perpetual contracts for trading. You can choose the contract that you want to trade by clicking on the "Perpetual" tab on the Huobi homepage.

Step 4: Place an Order

Step 5: Enter Your Order Details

In the order form, you will need to enter the following details:

  • Price: The price at which you want to sell the contract.
  • Quantity: The number of contracts that you want to sell.
  • Leverage: The amount of leverage that you want to use.
Step 6: Submit Your Order

Once you have entered all of the required details, you can submit your order by clicking on the "Place Order" button.

Step 7: Monitor Your Order

Once you have submitted your order, it will be placed on the Huobi order book. You can monitor the status of your order by clicking on the "Orders" tab on the Huobi homepage.

Step 8: Close Your Position
