Stacks (STX) is a layer-1 blockchain that allows developers to write smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) that can run on the Bitcoin blockchain. By leveraging Bitcoin's security and decentralization, STX aims to make it easier to develop and deploy these applications.
2. Issue Price
STX coins were first issued through an initial coin offering (ICO) on April 10, 2019. The ICO raised $25.7 million at an initial price of $0.025 per STX.

The maximum supply of STX coins is capped at 1,818,927,938.
