Fantom (FTM) is a high-throughput, scalable, and secure blockchain platform. The FTM coin is the native cryptocurrency of the Fantom blockchain.
Issuance Price
FTM coins were issued at a price of $0.025 during an initial coin offering (ICO) held on June 29, 2018.
Issuance Quantity
A total of 3.175 billion FTM coins were issued at the time of the ICO.
Distribution of FTM Coins
The FTM coins were distributed as follows:
- 35%: Sold to ICO participants
- 30%: Reserved for the Fantom Foundation
- 15%: Distributed to team members and advisors
- 10%: Allocated for partnerships and ecosystem development
- 10%: Held in reserve

As of January 1, 2023, the market price of FTM is approximately $0.30.
