In a recent podcast with Altcoin Daily, Saylor discussed the recent market turbulence, which he believes is more significant than most realize. He highlighted Bitcoin’s unique position as the only global capital market that operates 24/7, even when traditional markets are closed.

According to Saylor, Bitcoin’s recent volatility is a testament to its worldwide liquidity and credit capabilities. He likened Bitcoin to natural forces such as rivers or windstorms, which can be destructive if mishandled but powerful if harnessed.

He further predicted that Bitcoin may lose 10 or 20% over a few trading sessions. However, considering that it’s used as a store of value, he attributed Bitcoin’s fluctuations to its functionality. He described it as digital capital, superior to physical or financial capital.

In addition to the company, Saylor himself owns a substantial personal stake in Bitcoin.
