Zeus Network, a multi-chain layer built on the Solana Virtual Machine, has announced the launch of APOLLO, the first fully trustless and decentralized Bitcoin exchange on Solana, and zBTC, a permissionless Bitcoin (BTC) asset native to the network.

Until now, most Bitcoin decentralized finance use cases in the ecosystem depended on wrapped assets managed by centralized entities. ZBTC changes that by offering a direct, non-custodial bridge from native Bitcoin to Solana (SOL).
