While TON's appeal is undoubtedly intertwined with the broader enthusiasm for super apps, its resurgence has also been fueled by a general revival in the altcoin market, according to Thomas Peuch, CEO of Indigo, a digital asset hedge fund.

However, the project faced legal challenges from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which alleged violations of federal securities laws in the token sale.
