After 4 years and 100M+ $TON bridged, Toncoin Bridge is retiring. May 10, 2025, marks the final day for bridging $TON to Ethereum or BNB Chain.

Claims from past transfers will remain open, and inbound bridging continues for now.

Toncoin Bridge was crucial in the early days of TON, especially before Toncoin was listed on centralized exchanges (CEXs) and DeFi wasn’t a thing on TON. The bridge was the main tool to transfer Toncoin to Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain.

As the bridge winds down, the cross-chain platforms will be returning the liquidity to the mainnet in batches. Bridge oracles will also begin withdrawing their staked TON in accordance with the terms of the oracle program. All processes will proceed smoothly and orderly.
