Tether, best known for its stablecoin USDT, is venturing into artificial intelligence. Tether AI, an open-source AI runtime designed for hardware agnosticism and integrated crypto payments, was announced by CEO Paolo Ardoino on May 5.
The platform aims to create a decentralized peer-to-peer network of AI agents using Tether’s Wallet Development Kit (WDK) to process transactions in USDT and Bitcoin.
