Recently, TCOM Global IP Creation, a platform focused on decentralized content licensing, announced its launch on the Binance blockchain. This launch is part of the Binance MVB (Most Valuable Builder) program, which provides support for promising Web3 projects.
As reported by Binance, TCOM is being launched as part of a broader project called ACG WORWorlds, a collaboration between Tezuka Productions and ACGWORLDS Co., Ltd. The platform invites users to create and share secondary content, such as GameFi applications, NFT series, and anime-themed token launches.
This initiative is underpinned by the BNB Chain, which is being used to host the project and enable users to vote for their favorite submissions. The community votes will determine which creations receive airdrops and licensing opportunities in other blockchain projects.
TCOM Global is also integrating a community governance model into its operations. This model will empower fans to vote on IP development plans, ultimately influencing the direction of the content and the licensing decisions.
The introduction of TCOM to the Binance ecosystem marks a significant step in the evolution of intellectual property in a tokenized world. Traditionally, IP management has been centralized, with large corporations or government entities setting the rules and enforcing them through a complex web of legal agreements.
