The collaboration aims to enhance accessibility for users of Telegram's messaging app wallet in the Asia-Pacific region, enabling them to enter and exit the service using both fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.

In a research report published Thursday, JPMorgan (JPM) highlighted recent news that the SEC is investigating entities affiliated with the Ethereum Foundation. The bank maintains its stance that spot ether (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are unlikely to be approved by May. This view was first expressed in January, with the SEC facing a deadline of May 23 to make final rulings on some ETF applications. The regulatory body's approval of spot bitcoin (BTC) ETFs in January had sparked speculation about the possibility of similar approvals for ETH, the native token of the Ethereum blockchain. The analysts, led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, predict that "if there is no spot ether ETF approval in May, then we assume there is going to be litigation against the SEC after May."
