해커들은 금요일 오전 싱가포르에 본사를 둔 암호화폐 거래소 Bitrue의 지갑에서 2,300만 달러를 빼냈다고 트윗을 통해 밝혔습니다.

Crypto exchange Bitrue said Friday that hackers drained $23 million from one of its hot wallets earlier in the day.

암호화폐 거래소 Bitrue는 금요일에 해커들이 핫 지갑 중 하나에서 2,300만 달러를 인출했다고 밝혔습니다.

The exchange said in a tweet that it was able to quickly identify and stop the further exploitation of funds from the wallet.

거래소는 트위터를 통해 지갑에서 자금의 추가 이용을 신속하게 식별하고 중단할 수 있었다고 밝혔습니다.

It did not specify how the attack took place.

공격이 어떻게 발생했는지는 구체적으로 밝히지 않았습니다.

“The attackers were able to withdraw assets worth approximately 23 million USD in the following currencies: ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT and MATIC,” Bitrue said.

“공격자들은 ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT, MATIC 등의 통화로 약 2,300만 달러 상당의 자산을 인출할 수 있었습니다.”라고 Bitrue는 말했습니다.

The affected wallet contained less than 5% of Bitrue's overall reserves and the remaining wallets were not compromised, the exchange added.

영향을 받은 지갑에는 Bitrue 전체 준비금의 5% 미만이 포함되어 있으며 나머지 지갑은 손상되지 않았다고 거래소는 덧붙였습니다.

Bitrue said it has temporarily suspended all withdrawals, and expects to reopen them on April 18.

“All identified users who are affected by this incident will be compensated in full,” the post concluded.

Bitrue trades an average of over $1 billion a day, data from CoinGecko shows, with bitcoin and ether among the most-traded token pairs.
