In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Coinbase Assets announced the inclusion of Rocket Pool (RPL), Reserve Rights (RSR), Pudgy Penguins (PENGU), Renzo (REZ), Aethir (ATH), Syrup (SYRUP), Pendle (PENDLE), and Layer3 (L3) to its platform.

This update comes as Coinbase is facing a lawsuit from 10,000 users who claim the platform harvested their biometric data without consent. The lawsuit, filed in San Francisco federal court, alleges that Coinbase violated a federal law that prohibits the collection of such data without prior authorization.

The addition came after Coinbase met all the requirements for the S&P 500, including a market capitalization of at least $10 billion and fully diluted shares outstanding of at least 100 million.
