CoinbaseのBase Networkがウォレットアドレスを簡素化する「Basenames」を導入

イーサリアム上の著名なレイヤー2ソリューションであるCoinbaseのBaseネットワークは、ウォレットアドレスを簡素化する「Basenames」と呼ばれる新機能を開始した。

Powered by ENS, Basenames allows users to convert complex hexadecimal wallet addresses into user-friendly, readable names, ultimately enhancing the user experience within the blockchain space.

ENS を活用した Basenames を使用すると、ユーザーは複雑な 16 進数のウォレット アドレスをユーザー フレンドリーで読みやすい名前に変換でき、最終的にブロックチェーン空間内のユーザー エクスペリエンスが向上します。

Basenames are designed to be claimed like subdomains on websites. For instance, if you already own an ENS domain like base.eth, you can easily set up and handle several subnames or subdomains linked to your main domain.

ベース名は、Web サイト上のサブドメインのように要求されるように設計されています。たとえば、base.eth などの ENS ドメインをすでに所有している場合は、メイン ドメインにリンクされた複数のサブ名またはサブドメインを簡単に設定して処理できます。

This initiative aims to make it easier to manage and remember wallet addresses, especially for users who frequently interact with decentralized applications (dApps) or engage in on-chain activities.

この取り組みは、特に分散型アプリケーション (dApps) を頻繁に操作したり、オンチェーン活動に参加したりするユーザーにとって、ウォレット アドレスの管理と記憶を容易にすることを目的としています。

To ensure fair access and prevent automated systems or bots from monopolizing the process, all Basenames will be made available through a Dutch auction.

This method starts with a premium fee of 100 ETH, which gradually decreases to 0.39 ETH over 36 hours. After the auction concludes, users can secure their names without any additional premium fees.

この方法では、プレミアム料金 100 ETH から始まり、36 時間かけて 0.39 ETH まで徐々に減少します。オークション終了後、ユーザーは追加料金なしで自分の名前を確保できます。

The initial availability of Basenames is limited to the first three days post-launch.

Users must register their wallets by August 21, 18:00 UTC, to claim their unique base.eth usernames. This limited-time offer encourages early adoption and ensures that the most enthusiastic users can secure their desired names.
