The hackathon commenced on February 26th with an engaging online program, immersive virtual workshops, and dedicated team support. These initial sessions laid the foundation for an intensive weekend of "IRL hacking" at the ICP office in Lisbon. From March 1st to 3rd, participants tirelessly refined their projects, honing their presentation skills in preparation for the crucial pitches ahead.

All participants were first-time builders on the ICP, and part of the entry requirements was to complete an ICP certification course and create a smart contract on the blockchain.
